"Smiles" @ I Heart Faces

I took this at a "rest stop" on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Arkansas.  We stopped to eat a picnic lunch and let the kids run around.  It was warm, breezy and sunny.  The afternoon was perfect.  This is my 5 year old...kissing her daddy!  (Mark LOVES our 3 little girls!  These are his favorite moments...mine too!  He'll be the one crying at all their weddings and I'll have the camera!)  I have many "smiley photos"...as we all do.  This smile was a little different.  The emotion behind the smile was what grabbed me.  Yes, there is just something between a daddy and his daughter and I captured it. 

 

Week 13 - "Dramatic B & W"

Her name is Grace.  This little girl lives up to every meaning of her name!  It's my title photo but I love it so much that I finally had to enter it.  :)  This was taken during our family Thanksgiving...she was looking at her Grandma.  I love it.

 This is my baby feeding her baby!  I love the gentle care that she is giving to this little Cabbage Patch Doll.

This week's challenge at "I Heart Faces" was really tough for me.  I naturally get rid of all my junky photos.  So, I had to search for some REAL moments.

Week 8 - Hands On Fun

These hands proposed to me with a song. These hands played for me on my wedding day. These hands have played till our babies fell asleep and his fingers were numb. These hands are still proudly wearing the ring that I placed on it's ring finger...many years ago. These hands have brought beautiful music into my life. I LOVE these hands and the man who is attached to them! :)

This photo is a tribute to Mark...the man who makes me a better woman, mother, and friend!
