"Smiles" @ I Heart Faces
I took this at a "rest stop" on our way to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Arkansas. We stopped to eat a picnic lunch and let the kids run around. It was warm, breezy and sunny. The afternoon was perfect. This is my 5 year old...kissing her daddy! (Mark LOVES our 3 little girls! These are his favorite moments...mine too! He'll be the one crying at all their weddings and I'll have the camera!) I have many "smiley photos"...as we all do. This smile was a little different. The emotion behind the smile was what grabbed me. Yes, there is just something between a daddy and his daughter and I captured it.

Wonderful! The combination of his smile and closed eyes just conveys such feeling. It is really a sweet moment you've captured and refreshingly different from so many of the other more typical "smile" photos. The B&W is just perfect here, too. (seen on I Heart Faces)

Oh, my goodness!!! Top ten for sure!!! This is precious. I love it in B&W and love the expression on Daddy's face. I'm a mom of 3 little girls too, so this melts me in so many ways!!! Start saving those pennies! Ha! ;) Fabulous capture!!!
dads and daughters - enough said. i love that his eyes are closed -- almost as if he wants to contain or capture the moment for himself. i love the light b&w on this too.
This was a great capture of an almost indefinable thing! Oh, how I love to see Dads with their daughters. Just beautiful-this is one to treasure for sure.
